Connect Claude
to Ovrwhlm.

Connect Claude once, then capture, sort, and triage your tasks with the Eisenhower Matrix — just by talking.

How this works

Claude is the assistant you talk to. Ask Claude to capture, sort, and triage your tasks and it does the work in Ovrwhlm. Open the Ovrwhlm app on your phone any time to see your matrix and backlog.

Before you start

You add the connector in Claude Desktop or claude.ai (a browser) — not the Claude mobile app. The free Claude plan works — you just need an Ovrwhlm account (the same email you use in the Ovrwhlm app).

Connect in 5 steps

  1. Open Claude on desktop or web

Custom connectors can’t be added from the Claude mobile app. Use Claude Desktop (Mac or Windows) or claude.ai in a browser to set this up.

  2. Go to Settings → Connectors

Open Claude’s Settings, then the Connectors tab.

  3. Add a custom connector

Click Add custom connector. The only field that matters is the server URL — paste Ovrwhlm’s address below.

    https://ovrwhlm-dev.kecker.co/mcp
  4. Sign in to Ovrwhlm

An Ovrwhlm window opens. Sign in with your email and approve access. You only do this once. No token or config file to edit — sign-in handles it.

  5. You’re connected

Claude can now manage your tasks. Try one of the prompts below.

These steps show Claude — the most common setup. Ovrwhlm is a standard MCP server, so it also works with ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible assistants: add the same URL as a connector there.

Try saying

If something’s not working

Claude says it can’t find my tasks
Open Claude → Settings → Connectors → Ovrwhlm and confirm it shows your email (signed in). If not, click it and sign in again.
I don’t see “Add custom connector”
You’re likely in the Claude mobile app — connectors can only be added in Claude Desktop or claude.ai (a browser). Open Claude there, then Settings → Connectors.
The old guide told me to edit a JSON config file
That’s no longer needed. Just add the URL above as a custom connector and sign in — no claude_desktop_config.json editing, no token.
